Pass subjects (Any One) : History, Economics, Political Science, Oriya , Mathematics c. elective Subjects (Any Two) Indian Polity, Indian economy, Landmark in Indian History, Science & Technology, Mathematics (B) B.A (Hons):- (Eligibility for applying Hons. subject is 40 % marks both in aggregate without extra optional and in concerned subject secured in the qualifying Examination. a. Compulsory subjects -English, M.I.L / Alternative English Indian Society & Culture Environmental studies b. Hons subjects (Any One) History, Pol. Sc, Oriya c. Elective subject : Indian Polity, Indian economy, Landmark In Indian History, Science & Technology, Mathematics. Important – A pass or Hons student offering Pol. Sc., Economics, History & Mathematics as Pass & Hons subject shall not be allowed to take Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Landmark in Indian History and Mathematics respectively as elective subject(s). (C) B.Sc (Pass):- a. Compulsory subjects - English, M.I.L / Alternative English ,Indian Society & Culture Environmental studies b. Major Elective Subject (Any One) – (100 Marks) “ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics” (D) B.Sc (Hons):- Eligibility : A candidate should have secured 40 % marks in concerned subject and at least 40 % in aggregate without Extra optional in the qualifying Examination. a. Pass subjects (Any One) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Industrial Fish & Fisheries c. Hons. subject (any One) Physics, Chemistry, Botany d. Elective subject a. (5) Add On Course Self financing Career oriented Vocational Subjects :- a.Certificate course – 1yr b.Diploma Course - 2 yr c.Degree course- 3 yr In addition to B.Sc course a student can simultaneously undergo the above course opting any one of the following Career Oriented subject. i.Computer Maintenance – Course fee- Rs. 8000/- per Year ii.Biotechnology (Horticulture)-Course fee-Rs. 5000/- per Year iii.T.V & Video Production - Course fee- Rs. 8000/- per Year (6)To enhance the employability of the students, the college has applied for opening permission for the subject “ Hons. in Computer Science” at B.Sc. level and “Communicative English” as a vocational subject for B.A students. Both are self financing courses. The course fee for Hons in Computer Science will be Rs 10,000 /- Per Year (7) Distance Education – Sambalpur University has approved Attabira College, Attabira as a study centre for distance education. a).D.C.A– One Year Course– Course fee :Rs. 5000/- as prescribed by Sambalpur University b). P.G.D.C.A – One Year Course – Course fee: Rs. 16000/- by the University. c). B.C.A – Three Year Course – Course fee: Rs. 15000 /- per annum as prescribed by Sambalpur University (8) B.Sc Hons for Compulsory subject refer to Sl. No.4.D.
