The performance
of Botany Honours and Pass
student is adequate and
satisfactory and the drop out
rate is minimal.
The learning resources
of the department are Books in
Central Library- 518 nos., in
Seminar Library-35 nos. ,
Computers and two (Junior and
Senior ) well equipped
laboratories.
Our department
started teaching Honours course
in Botany in the academic
session 2005-06 with the
addition of a number of special
books for the seminar library
and purchase of practical
equipments.
The faculty member of our
department take both the
Honours and Pass students to
different Botanical gardens
(Both Private and Government) in
the locality for collection of
different flora and work
materials and for the
preparation of Herbarium.
Our faculty member
Sri P. N. Ratha holds the
charges of Red Cross and
Environment Awareness Club and
has attended a number of
Red-Cross camps organized at
different times during the last
five years.
The department conducts one Unit
test each month, Pre-Test ,
Test Examinations and one
seminar each month. |
