        The learning resources of the department are based on Central Library (659 books), Seminar Library (40 books), Computer (01 book) and Laboratory equipments.] Additional books, equipments, etc. were included in the Central / Seminar Library and laboratory respectively.

The department organizes seminars for the development of academic activities of the students.

          One of the faculty members Sri T.K.Mishra has attended one refresher course (15^th Nov 98 to 12^th Dec 98) and one orientation programme (4^th Sept 2000 to 1^st Oct 2000).

            The students of this department take part in NSS, Youth Red Cross etc.

The students’ assessment is done through Unit test, Pre test and Test examinations besides the University Examinations.

One student of this department ranked 17^th in the Final Degree Examination 2005.
